GAVIN KING #34 – Senior Spotlight

#34 Gavin King is the son of Chris & Lindsay King. Gavin was born weighing 6 pounds and 1 ounce.   His football adventure started playing for the Grassland Eagles as a Linebacker.  His all-time favorite player is Peyton Manning.  Gavin plans on attending the University of Tennessee #GoVols.  Below are a few of Gavin’s top pics:

CHRISTOPHER MILLER-HILL #16 – Senior Spotlight

#16 Christopher Miller-Hill is the son of Laura Miller & Mary Hill. Christopher was born weighing a whopping 9 pounds and 5 ounces.   Christopher started his football journey as the team kicker in 8th grade at Grassland Middle School.  Chad Ochocino from the Bengals is his favorite pro player.  Christopher plans on attending College after graduating from FHS.  Below are a few of his all time favorites:

KEVIN JANUSKY #40 – Senior Spotlight

#40 Kevin Janusky is the son of Dominic & Lori Janusky. Kevin was born tipping the scales at 7 pounds and 9 ounces.  Kevin played football for the Grassland Golden Eagles at Defensive End & Tight End. Tom Brady (G.O.A.T.) and Pat Tillman are his favorite players.  Kevin plans to go to college in order to get a Sports Management and Education degree.  He is working to play D-2 football in college as a walk on and would like to become a football coach at the D1 level in the future.  Below are a few of his favorites:

TANNER HARNAGE #84 – Senior Spotlight

#84 Tanner Harnage is the son of Judd & Michelle Harnage. Tanner was born weighing 6 pounds and 5 ounces.   Tanner’s football adventure started playing Cornerback for our Franklin Rebels.  Minkah Fitzpatrick from Alabama is his favorite player.  Tanner plans on attending College after graduating from FHS.  Below are a few of Tanner’s favorites:

JACOB SCHOEFF #10 – Senior Spotlight

#10 Jacob Schoeff is the son of Tyson Schoeff and Kathy Schoeff Webb. Jacob arrived 2 weeks pre-mature at 7lbs 12 oz.  Ten years later he was suiting up as a guard for the Franklin Cowboys. Currently weighing in at 187 lbs, he’s still playing on the line, just on the other side of the ball. His favorite pro player is Marcus Mariota. The summer after high school Jacob plans on living in Key West to work at a dive shop and graduate from Master Diver to Dive Master, then on to Scuba Instructor. His plan is to study marketing and marine biology in college, paving the way to create a company focused on helping preserve the worlds ocean reefs. A few of Jacob’s favorites include:

Favorite Food: Due to balancing weight for football and wrestling, Jacob is currently on a lean kick. When he’s letting the horses run wild he loves steak “medium rare”, his moms shrimp fettucine, his dads New York cheesecake and the Waffle House grand slam breakfast with scattered, smothered and covered. Yum!

JAKE ELLISON #58 – Senior Spotlight

#58 Jake Ellison is the son of Rick & Melodie Ellison. He was born weighing 8 pounds and 2 ounces.   Jake played OL & DL all the way back to his Franklin Cowboys days.  Drew Brees is his favorite Pro player.  Jake plans to go to Buffalo Wild Wings with “the boys” then attend Mississippi State to study Biomedical Engineering. #85 Landon Carter is the son of Jamie & Russie Carter. Our team’s Punter arrived weighing in at 8 pounds and 11 ounces.   Landon’s football days date back to the Grassland Eagles CCC team where he played OLine, DLine and Tight End.  Peyton Manning is his favorite Pro Player.  Landon plans to attend College after graduating from FHS.  Below are a few more fun facts about Landon:

WYATT BURTON #64 – Senior Spotlight

#64 Wyatt Burton is the son of Randy & Kaye Burton. Wyatt weighed 8 pounds and 15 ounces when he was born.  He started his football career playing for the Grassland Eagles as the Center for their OLine.  Thomas Davis, Sr is his favorite College Player from UGA. Wyatt hopes to attend either UGA or UTK when he graduates from Franklin High.  Below are a few more things to know about Wyatt:

#60 Austin Hamill is the son of Shane & Sara Hamill. Austin was born weighing 7 pounds and 8 ounces.  Austin has been a loyal Lineman from the start where he played for the Franklin Cowboys. ELI CHRISTOPH #38 – Senior Spotlight

#38  Eli Christoph is the son of Paul & Renuka Christoph. Eli weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces when he was born.   Eli started as a Franklin Cowboy playing Wide Receiver. Today he is an Outside Linebacker for the Rebels.  Brett Favre is his favorite Pro player.  Eli has his sights set on attending Stanford University in Palo Alto, California after graduating from FHS. MICHAEL RADICK #82 – Senior Spotlight

#82 Michael Radick is the son of Todd & Tracey Radick.  When Michael was born he weighed in at 6 pounds 12 ounces.   He started his football journey at Franklin High playing Cornerback and Wide Receiver.  Michael’s favorite Pro Player is Isaiah Crowell. After graduating FHS, he will attend college to study biomedical engineering and complete his doctorate in physical therapy.  A few more fun facts about Michael include:

HUNTER WALDRUM #53 – Senior Spotlight

#53 Hunter Waldrum is the son of David & Faye Waldrum. Hunter was born weighing 6 pounds and 13 ounces.   He played Tight End with his first football team the Bellevue Steelers.  Tyrann Mathieu is his favorite Pro player. After graduating from Franklin High skies are the limit! He is a third generation Goldsmith/ Fabricator and General Contractor in training since youth with plans of extending his knowledge of 3D imaging and CAD for building the world better than we know it in Civil and Structural Engineering. Below are a few of Hunter’s favorites:

KYLE MEANS #65 – Senior Spotlight

#65  Kyle Means is the son of Jessica Means & Kevin Means. Our Offensive & Defensive Lineman arrived weighing in at 8 pounds and 7.5 ounces.   Kyle started playing football with the Franklin Cowboys and has always been a lineman!  Tiki Barber is his favorite Pro player.  Kyle wants to study Biology / Zoology in college.  More of Kyles favorite things include:

PRICE WYNN #17 – Senior Spotlight

#17 Price Wynn is the son of Betsy & Chris Wynn.  When Price was born he weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces.  He made is football debut as a Grassland General in 7th grade as a Wide Receiver.  Price’s favorite college team is Old Miss and his favorite pro player is from our Stanley Cup Finalists The Nashville Preds…. Pekka Rinne! Here are a few more fun facts about Price:

MICHAEL CROWTHER #2 – Senior Spotlight

#2 Michael Crowther is the son of Bradford & Catheryne Crowther and the late Linda Bennett.  When Michael was born he weighed 9 pounds and 4 ounces!  His first football team was playing for Zion Christian Academy Middle School as Corner Back and Wide Receiver.   Michael’s favorite Pro Player is the great Bo Jackson.  Michael plans to pursue an Army ROTC scholarship and attend Auburn University #GoTigers!  A few more notables about Michael include:
