JACOB SCHOEFF #10 – Senior Spotlight

#10 Jacob Schoeff is the son of Tyson Schoeff and Kathy Schoeff Webb. Jacob arrived 2 weeks pre-mature at 7lbs 12 oz.  Ten years later he was suiting up as a guard for the Franklin Cowboys. Currently weighing in at 187 lbs, he’s still playing on the line, just on the other side of the ball. His favorite pro player is Marcus Mariota. The summer after high school Jacob plans on living in Key West to work at a dive shop and graduate from Master Diver to Dive Master, then on to Scuba Instructor. His plan is to study marketing and marine biology in college, paving the way to create a company focused on helping preserve the worlds ocean reefs. A few of Jacob’s favorites include:

Favorite Food: Due to balancing weight for football and wrestling, Jacob is currently on a lean kick. When he’s letting the horses run wild he loves steak “medium rare”, his moms shrimp fettucine, his dads New York cheesecake and the Waffle House grand slam breakfast with scattered, smothered and covered. Yum!

Favorite Motivational Saying or Scripture: “You didn’t come this far, only to come this far.”

Favorite Rebel Football Memory:  Watching Coach T.  race Landon Carter to a fence in the middle of football practice after Landon had pushed his buttons a little too far.

Message from Jacob’s Proud Rebel Parents:

“Jacob, neither one of us could imagine a better son. We love your strong faith that guides you day to day. Watching you play with kids and work with the 3-4 yr. olds at church shows your heart. It’s been a pure joy to observe. Your selflessness and positive leadership have also been inspiring, as we’ve witnessed your penchant to build people up, along with your optimism, drive, hard work and team first approach. No matter what path you choose to follow, we know you’ll be successful; however, it’s your heart, faith, sense of humor and positive attitude we admire most. Continue singing to the radio at the top of your voice and living life with passion. Most of all, enjoy the journey. We love you, Jacob Ryan, and couldn’t be prouder of the man you have become.”
