Today’s Senior Spotlight is on Senior Linebacker, Jameson Reagan.  Jameson wears #44 for the Rebels and is the son of Scott and Jama Reagan and brother to former FHS Rebel, Shannah.  He is also on the FHS Rugby team which has won 2 Division III State Championships.  He is also a member of the FHS wrestling team.  After graduation, Jameson hopes to attend a university located in the Northeast with both a strong academic ad rugby presence, such as American University or Penn State.  His favorite FHS Football memory happened recently when the team ended a week of Homecoming celebrations with a huge victory over Antioch.  The Senior Class also won the float competition one last time.  When asked what his favorite motivational quote is he said this “Start by doing what is necessary.  Then do what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible!”

Here is what his parents, Scott and Jama want him to know:  We are proud of the man you are becoming.  We have always respected the fact that you are your own person, who does not look outside of yourself for approval or for cues as to what you should be doing. We hope that you learn to use the stubbornness,  which keeps you on the mat during a tough wrestling match, which fuels your desire to overthrow the “BeastBirds” (Ravenwood) on the rugby pitch before you graduate, and which keeps you from doing homework at times, for all things that you truly aspire to in this life.  We are blessed in our home to have such a kind and generous spirit among us; one that reminds all of us to walk with our heads raised and our hearts open, even in the face of adversity.”

We are looking forward to watching Jameson wrestle this winter and can’t wait to see what he, along with our Rugby team, accomplish next spring.
