Rebels WIN Opener!
The FHS Rebels came from a 5 point deficit at half-time to win their 2004 season opener against Lincoln County 25 - 19. Both teams came in with running attacks, but by the second half, Franklin was able to slow down Lincoln County's running game and force them into a passing game. Franklin, however, was able to continue their running game into the second half with Derrian Waters totalling 118 yards rushing for the game and junior quarterback Michael Mikrut coming in at the second half and rushing for 53 yards. Congratulations to the players and Head Coach Tim Johnson and staff for their season opening victory.
